Senate District 8 Republican Runoff
The special election for Oklahoma’s Senate District 8 has advanced to a runoff between Republicans Bryan Logan and David Nelson. In the initial primary, Logan secured 40.71% of the vote (1,521 votes), while Nelson received 31.61% (1,181 votes).
Henryetta City Council Elections
The City of Henryetta is holding a Nonpartisan General Municipal Election to fill three City Council positions for four-year terms expiring in 2029. The offices up for election include Council-member for Ward 4, and Council-member At Large.
Other Notable Elections
Edmond Mayoral Runoff: Mark Nash and former city council member Tom Robins are competing in a runoff election for mayor. In the February election, Nash garnered 34.9% of the vote, and Robins received 34.2%, leading to today’s runoff.
Oklahoma City Council Ward 7: Residents are voting between Camal Pennington and John Pettis Jr. for the Ward 7 seat on the City Council.
