The race for the Oklahoma State Senate in District 8 is heating up, and local voters will have a unique opportunity to hear directly from the candidates at an upcoming live debate hosted by The Henryettan on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 6:30 PM. The event will be held at the Green Country Technology Center in Okmulgee, with doors opening to the public at 6:00 PM.

This forum is designed to give voters the chance to evaluate the candidates on the issues that matter most to the region—from economic development and healthcare access to education, infrastructure, and transparency in government.

  • Bryan Logan (Republican) – Winner of the April 1st GOP runoff
