Henryetta City Council to Appoint Mayor and Hold April Meetings — Community Invited to Engage
Following the results of the April 1 election, the Henryetta City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, April 14, 12 NOON to select the city’s Mayor and Vice Mayor. This pivotal decision marks the beginning of a new chapter in Henryetta’s civic leadership. The meeting will be broadcast live on The Henryettan’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, giving residents the opportunity to watch the process in real-time.
We encourage all citizens to tune in and be part of this important moment. Active participation and informed community involvement are key to a thriving, transparent local government.
The following evening, on Tuesday, April 15 at 6:30 PM, the City Council will hold its monthly regular meeting at the Civic Center (115 South 4th Street). The agenda includes financial reports, property abatements, utility and engineering payments, community event approvals, and city infrastructure improvements. Several newly elected members will be seated and participating in city governance for the first time.
